This past weekend, we found ourselves with a fairly substantial snowfall. On the other side of town (really east of the city), Meredith, my future wife that was unknowing, was stuck. Her Canadian friend Wayne had two tickets to see his beloved Edmonton Oilers play. He actually didn"t have anyone since he hadn"t been living in Denver for too long. He asked his co worker Meredith to go with him. She had little interest in hockey, so Wayne said yes, but she was her buddy.
